FormIt 360 Web Chrome Not Loading

kraftwerk15

Having issue today loading FormIt 360 on the web in Chrome. Attached is a screenshot from debug log. The loading bar and page (which do look nice, btw) will get up to 100% and sit there waiting for the error to be fixed.

Up-to-date on Chrome, running a Lenovo.

Thanks

Seems it is still working in Firefox. I have isolated it to an issue with WebGL in Chrome and not specifically to deal with FormIt.

Does seem as though there is still an error in Firefox. Debug from Firefox below.

Hi mhgray,

Thanks for the screenshots.

I'm not seeing either error in either browser.

I'll forward this to our development team to get some more insight.

Hi mhgray,

Would you be able to post the console output from Chrome as it's loading?

1. Open the debug console (Ctrl + Shift + j)

2. Navigate to http://formit360.autodesk.com/app

3. After the loading bar is "stuck" at 100%, right click the console log and select "Save as..."

4. Attach the resulting log file here

Thank you,

Nat

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is there any chance you've had Chrome open for a "long" period of time? If you're able to open some other WebGL apps (e.g., http://webglsamples.org/) successfully, then restarting chrome may fix the problem (restarting your computer may be necessary).

Thanks for the try.

I opened the link provided, but none of those will work. The default message that pops up in browser is:

It does not appear your computer supports WebGL.

Status: Web page was not allowed to create a WebGL context.

Running the latest version of Chrome, Version 55.0.2883.87 m (64-bit).

I'm seeing some other posts in forums (not Autodesk) that are having webGL problems in Version 55.

Also, cleared browser cache from a recommendation on another post. That did not help.

Hi cegana2,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I noticed you posted about this in multiple theads on the forum. Let's keep the conversation in this thread going forward, so we can better track the conversation and help you most efficiently.

Can you try:

- Restarting Chrome

- Updating Chrome

- Restarting your machine

... and let us know if any of these help?

Thanks,

Hi Martin, do other WebGL sites work (e.g., http://webglsamples.org/)? Restarting the computer and/or clearing your cache might be worth a try.

Hi, yes samples on http://webglsamples.org/ works.

I have restarted.

I even powerwashed the computer https://www.cnet.com/how-to/what-does-it-mean-to-powerwash-a-chromebook/ which removes all user accounts and wipe all local data like cache.

Now it works if i start in a incognito window.

Then there should be some problem with my cache anyway? Even that i wiped my computer...

Hi Martin,

Sorry for the inconvenience, the service we use to sign you in to FormIt Web is currently down. We're working to restore it as soon as possible. We'll update the forums when the issue is fixed.

In the mean time, FormIt Windows and FormIt iOS are unaffected by this outage.

Thanks,

Hi all,

The service has been restored, and you should be able to sign in to FormIt Web again.

We're taking a look at what caused this so we can hopefully ensure it doesn't happen again.

Sorry for the downtime.
