Multiple Library Items created?

Hey Forma team 

I am experimenting with the createItem() method of the Library Api

Although i call the method only once I notice sometimes that multiple Items are created.. 

I use code below

and these are the results

Can you see something wrong with my implementation ?

I have looked at the API, it seems like, it's working perfectly. Can I advise you to look at your rendering cycle, or is there a loop somewhere around your code?
