Hi Forum Experts! I am wondering if the calculation of the noise analysis is taking longer than before. I think it used to take Spacemaker less than 5 mins to calculate the noise, but now I sometime experience 10-15 minutes. Is the analysis running in the cloud or is it (or parts of it) being computed on my machine? Thanks!
Thanks for the question! The noise analysis is running in the cloud, not on your computer. The time it takes to run a noise analysis depends on the complexity of your site. For example, more roads, traffic, and buildings in a larger area will take longer time than a single road with few buildings. May that be the reason why it takes longer time?
All our analysis runs in the AWS cloud except one which is the rapid sun analysis, this one runs locally on your computer. The rapid sun analysis only exists in Spacemaker Classic projects.
