Revit keeps crashing on Step 4 of importing to forma. Any help would be appreciated!

We have tried sizing down the area, reinstalling forma app etc.

Sorry to hear you are experiencing problems.

To clarify, is the crash when you are importing Forma content into Revit or when you are Saving Revit content to Forma?

Are there any error messages or additional information available to help us understand the problem?

Do you get an error message, or does Revit just disappear?  What version of Revit are you using?  Can you share the URL of a proposal that we can look at?  You can share it via private message.

Hey, it is when we are trying to import forma content into revit where it crashes. No error messages - Revit just freezes on Step 4 and never loads anything in.

It could just be a really long import.  We've seen proposals where there was a really complex OBJ file imported in Forma that took over an hour to fully import into Revit.  We've never seen it just hang forever.  Is this for all proposals, or only specific ones?  We'd definitely like to take a look at this one to see what's going on.

This is loading in just a few seconds for me in Revit 2024.  I'm going to try in 2022 now.  What version are you using?  Do you have other add-ins installed that might be causing a conflict?  Another possibility is that there is something in your template.  Does it make a difference if you use one of the templates provided by Revit to create the project?
