Hallo dear Forma developers,
I would ask if for the import with the Rhino plug-in, would be possible to export the "map" texture like the screen for the 3D-Terrain.
The "satellite" texture is currently being exported.
Thanks and best regards

Hi Forma Team,
still on the same topic, I exported the existing terrain from Forma to Rhino, it works, but when I send the data file to another person, the satellite map is not there anymore because it's missing the path. I wonder how to fix this problem?

Hello Sylvia,
We are currently not able to directly embed the texture files inside of the 3dm file through the Rhino API. However, you can choose to do so from the save dialog:
That way, the next time a user opens the file, Rhino will automatically extract the textures to a folder in the same place as the file and set the paths correctly.
It is now possible to toggle between the map and satellite images (or no image) in the Forma Plug-in for Rhino.
Look for the terrain texture icon next to Terrain after Loading Site Data.
Click the icon to see the drop down. No image is on the left, map is in the middle, and satellite is on the right.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a way to do this for the Revit Plugin?
We are working on the Revit solution and hope to release it in an upcoming release.
Hopefully soon!
