As our Build usage continues to grow, our team is communicating more efficiently within the platform. However, we’re running into challenges with how notifications are delivered. When someone assigns a task or tags you in a comment, the only alert comes through email, which often gets lost in the noise—or worse, we only find out through someone asking in person, “Did you see it?”
To improve responsiveness and reduce missed communication, we’d like to request in‑app, Meta‑style notifications that clearly alert users when they’ve been tagged, assigned, or mentioned. This could include:
- Notification badges within the app
- Push notifications, such as banners or alerts outside the app
- A centralized notification panel showing all mentions, comments, and assignments
These enhancements would make it much easier for teams to stay updated and prevent important communications from slipping through the cracks.
