We need better email notification settings for Submittals, RFI's and Issues. At a minimum there should be the option to send an instant email on assignment, (we have this already) then a frequency email, (admin / user defined) e.g. weekly, followed by X days (admin / user defined) before due date. Almost anything would be better than the current options. We thought the daily digest may help, but turns out you only get a daily email when there is a new assignment. There is no daily notification for already assigned or upcoming items due. (although this would really be overkill) I understand the user homepage dashboard can be used but reality is we cannot expect all folks to be in there every day. Some are reliant on email reminders.
