Latest Autodesk Forma Desktop Connector Removes Project Template File

I was forced to uninstall and reinstall the desktop connector after it remained frozen after multiple force quits the other day. Now, with the new and "improved" desktop connector, I am no longer able to select our company project template folder to have showing in the desktop filing system as we were previously able to do.

This means I am no longer able to open up our starter rvt file to make edits and or give me a file location to start a new model from revit start page. What is the difference between the project folders and project template folders that it is no longer selectable for viewable in the desktop connector but still shows within revit start page.

Additionally, now the desktop connector app is almost unusable and freezes whenever you attempt to click on anything besides the Add Projects.

@lorenW7HMR, with the latest Desktop Connector, we have lost the ability to select project templates (Project Templates are not available in Desktop Connector Select Projects). This is an expected behaviour now. 
As a workaround, if you have a lower version of Desktop connector (before 2027.2), you can select all the templates you want to select. If you have your project and project template selected, even if you upgrade to version 2027.2 you should be able to see the templates which were selected using earlier version.
