Currently, users can delete or modify markups that other users have created. How can you protect markups from being modified or deleted by others?

To protect annotations from being modified or deleted in AutoCAD, you can either lock specific layers or share the drawing as a secure, non-editable format. Using Layers or PDF publishing offers the best control for preserving markups and preventing unauthorized tampering.

I'm not talking about AutoCAD drawings, I mean any PDFs in ACC Docs, now called Forma Data Management. I'm able to delete or modify any markup another user has made.

Historically, control of published mark-ups relied on permission-based settings, which could be difficult to manage. Recent updates have simplified this process by enabling users to work within the model without affecting published mark-ups. This option is available under File Settings > Advanced Settings > Publishing Markups.

Hi @alejandro_delacruz_g

Only users with Edit or higher permission settings can delete mark ups so maybe check the permission settings for all users on the project and ensure that only relevant people have this permission setting added to their profile.
