Desktop Connector?

ok, hear me out.... LOL...

The Desktop Connector does not seem to be "Needed" to open and work on files on Forma Construction Cloud using Revit. I just uninstalled it, and everything appeared to open and sync just fine. The only advantage seems to be that Desktop Connector creates an Autodesk Docs folder in your file explorer window where you can access files, create folders, etc...

That said, If i make a Local from a central in the Autodesk docs folder, save it to another folder on my C drive and work in it, when i Sync to Central will it update the file on Forma?

side question... if others are working the same way, will that cause any issues Sync'ing

If you are only hosting Revit models, I don't think you need desktop connector at all. But if you want to link CAD files, or Images that are saved/hosted in Forma that's when you need the desktop connector.

... I do believe.
