Adding sheet table with sheet set palette (Insert tables but not showing sheets)

Hi all,

I've been trying to insert a table but without succes :

The list of sheet doesnt get populated inside the table, the table header shows :

The sheet set is on ACC and was started with the ACC web workflow but we've switched onto classic ssm to insert the table

We tried to see if that works on another sheetset and yes :

Anyone has an idea on what is happening ?

Hi @cyberflow, I'm sorry to hear your experiencing this issue. To start us troubleshooting, could you please answer the questions below:

  • While in AutoCAD, could you please type "ABOUT" and share a screenshot of the About dialogue box that comes up?
  • I understand the issue is only occurring with this one sheet set, is that correct?
  • Is the sheet set table list not displaying in multiple drawings or only one?
  • Does this happen on multiple machines and with multiple users, or only one?
  • When did this issue start?

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you!

Cyber Flow,

Can you select the ones you want to be brought into your drawing individually?  VS coming off the main project name?

As shown in the pasted image below.

Here is a post I did last week on SSM. Maybe this will give you a deeper skill set to get what you need.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks, JRR!

Hi @catherine.watson forgot to reply on your post

We're runinng 2025 in production

Yes correct, this happens only with sheetset done on the ACC

Only the header of the table is showing, not the content

Happens with everyone in the company
Issue started a few times ago, cant ping an exact time but pretty sure it was functionnal in 2024

Any news or feedback from development or support team ?

Cyber Flow,

Can you copy all the files needed for you SSM into your Download folder.

Can strip them of all your perinate information and then zip the files and let us see the setup first hand?

You'd only need to do two or three and then maybe someone could help your company out.

Also, can you post an image of the exact way you want your drawing index to appear. I am sure you have manually corrected the issue. It'd be nice to see one in the correct format you need.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, JRR!

Hi @jreidKVSUZ

Unfortunatly i can't share that since there's confidential information related to the project.

And i do think there's a related point with ACC on the server side

Cyber Flow,

Can you send the DST file?

We can review that and make our own files to match your callouts.

Thanks, JRR!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share an update based on my discussions with Autodesk Support:

  • Case Escalation: My case has been escalated to the Civil 3D development team for triage.

  • Potential Cause: The issue might be related to layout indexing in the .dst file. Refreshing the index could help. One suggested workaround is pulling the .dst from ACC and re-adding the files locally. Another idea is moving affected layouts to a new subset and then back.

  • Workarounds Discussed:

    • Avoid copying and editing .dst files; create new ones when needed.
    • Ensure unsupported fonts aren’t being used.
    • Consider using a regular table with text fields linked to Sheet Set Manager properties (though setup and maintenance take more time).
    • Try moving sheets to a local location and re-uploading them.
    • Test different Civil 3D versions to see if the issue persists.
  • Fix Timeline: If a code fix is required, it will likely take months. In the meantime, finding a workaround that works for your team is recommended.

  • Future Changes: There’s a chance that upcoming changes to Sheet Set Manager and its ACC integration (expected in Civil 3D 2026.2) could resolve this issue but for sure in the future 2027 this will be resolved.

If anyone has tried similar workarounds or has other ideas, I’d love to hear your feedback.

Cyber Flow,

Thanks for sharing. I have not had any issues with SSM except working on SharePoint, but  figured that issue out by always making sure to login to SharePoint before opening AutoCAD.

With that all said, did their fix / suggestion help your concerns?

Thanks, JRR!

We're going to move forward with an inhouse programmed command that will insert the table as per our standards

Gona avoid some clicks and speed up our users work

Cyber Flow,

Glad you found a solution. Would you be able to share that "inhouse programmed command" with us all? or how it functions.

Thanks, JRR!
