Hello Forma Team!,

I noticed that when you compare the Proposals you can only see the base map terrain only when you use the Area Metrics option

But isn't it possible someone might want to also see the terrain when they use other options like 'Wind' or 'Sun Hours'?
is there a way to achieve that as of now? I tried moving it to the Proposal and using it as a Base

Thanks a lot!
Giannis

Hey Giannis,

I have two interpretations here, so help me figure which one is right? 🙂

  1. Are you trying to get the regular terrain in Forma to show in these analysis? That you can do using the display mode setting in the lower right corner. It also exists in compare, like in the site design mode.

  2. Are you looking to use an imported texture as a layer and see that represented in the analysis?

Hey @kasper.herlov

That would be case 2. I would like to be able to see an imported Library Texture for example when I am using the 'Wind' category in the comparison

Sincere apologies for not seeing your reply here Giannis. I see that what you are trying to do indeed isn't possible. However it should be, and I am bringing it up with the team to figure out how we can make imported textures work the same as the ordered textures. Thanks for clarifying and reporting.

@iklimis could you send me a DM here? Having a bit of trouble reproducing your specific case and I wonder if I am missing information from your example. I'd love to take a closer look if that is at all possible. Again, apologies for the very extended timeline here!
