Hello Forma Community, We're excited to share the latest enhancements and upcoming features for Forma. While there were lots of vacations and times away from our desks over July, but the team has still been rolling out numerous updates over the past month.

  We'd like to tell you all about 16 updates that we've added to Forma since last monthly update and say a little about where we're headed next. Last week we tried a fun experiment using Forma ..... ... And we were happy surprised with the results!!

A few weeks ago, I posted on LinkedIn about an Apartment Calculator Dynamo Script I had created using the Dynamo Player in Forma Beta. That post went viral – it has since been liked over 400 times and has been seen by close to 35,000 people! 

The detailed noise analysis provides results on the ground, facades, and roofs for a simulated noise situation from roads.

We are happy to announce that we have just released the housing feature in Forma.   With our flexible housing feature, you can swiftly populate your site with diverse range of housing types and quickly iterate on your design. This feature accommodates low-density housing developments such as row houses, single housing, and duplexes.   I would also like to thank everyone who has provided valuable feedback on the housing prototype over the past three weeks (link). It is now possible to add custom floorplans to Library and then re-use them across Basic Buildings.

We are excited to announce the release of the initial set of terrain editing capabilities in Forma! With this update, you can now easily flatten the terrain in specific areas and apply grading around the designated footprints.
