We have an issue where when we alter the utility rate cost up from say $0.14 to $0.22 our kwm2 usage goes up by 25% which makes no sense, ulitiy cost per unit doesn't effect usage. There doesn't seem to be any way to check what is getting analised, we can't see say a 3D view or a plan showing all the spaces and maybe colour coded by amount of energy usage. It seems to be very black box in how the final number pops out. We have an issue where we have modeled an existing building which we have all the sub meter energy usage information for an entire year. We have entered all the spaces information into every parameter and added every thermal value into every material in Revit. We can get either the $m2 to equate to reality or the kw/m2/year to equate to reality but not both. If we get one to work the other is out by 10-15%. It would be nice to have another type of building being supermarket as there are some large differences between retail and supermarkets. We have an issue where the largest energy usage in a $3700m2 supermarket is freezers and fridges which are run off the mechanical cooling system for the store. It would be great if there were some more options in HVAC systems so if one has been designed it's specifications can be put in rather than picking a generic system.

 

Also being able to control opening hours more accurately would be great as supermarkets aren't 12/7 or 24/7 they are halfway inbetween which greatly effects energy use.

 

It would be nice in future releases to be able to have the ability to assign power usage to electrical equipment and there hours per week of operation and the spaces could then pick up that data rather than having to add them all up and key in a plug load into a space.

 

It would be nice for insight to take on the data from mechanical systems to get the energy consumption from the actual units rather than just selecting the limited selections of standard HVAC units.
