I ran into some problems last week when I tried to run Flow using an account with an expired subscription. Every time I started Flow, it automatically linked to expired account and would not give me the option to associate it with a different account which had an active subscription. A lot of time was spent trying to get the program to link up with the correct account. A "Switch Accounts" button would have been a big help. The situation was made more confusing because the alert that came up at startup said that the account was "not entitled for Flow Design." The phrase "entitled" puzzled me, and my IT and BIM managers. We thought entitlement must be something in the nature of admin privileges. If the alert had said “not licensed for Flow”, or "this account's subscription is expired" it would have given us a clearer understanding of the nature of the problem.. Also, being referred to our “contract manager” was unfamiliar. It sounded like we were being told we had to go through some sort of intermediary, like maybe a reseller, to get entitled. We generally purchase software directly from the developer and several of us here are authorized to purchase and install, so, again, this was something we hadn’t encountered before. The alert had links to my Autodesk account page and to the Autodesk Store. I spent a long time poking around on my user account pages looking for something related to “entitling” stuff. Clearer instructions accompanying this alert, explaining that my subscription was expired and directing me to renew it via the Autodesk Store would have helped.
