This is not a post asking for help. Rather, I wanted to post this to the forums as advice/troubleshooting for those who may run into this issue as I have. That issue is, I was not able to run Flexsim properly as a user but worked perfectly fine. This isn't an issue for those who work using unmonitored computers, however, I could not do such a thing due to only IT members having those kinds of permissions. Thus, if you are in this position, this will be more so a guide for IT to follow to fix your issue.
This issue happening can occur from a multitude of methods, however, the central issue is the .t file located within the FlexSim file being corrupted. Personally, mine occurred from my FlexSim hard crashing due to being unable to process me wanting to delete an experimenter run containing 40 replications from an incredibly complicated model. However, this corruption is typically caused by FlexSim hardcrashing without saving properly in any fashion including mine, so make sure you don't do what I did.
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REPAIR:
Begin by either pressing Win+R if on windows or entering the run command on your computer. Then, enter the %Appdata% file by typing in %Appdata% and enter the "Roaming" file. Next, find the respective FlexSim file contained within here and select the file pertaining to the current version of FlexSim you have. Once here. find the corrupted .t file. This can be identified either by the file looking weird compared to the others or seeing an exclamation point in the file's name. Once this is completed you can simply run the executable file or the program icon on your desktop and a new .t file will be created that is uncorrupted and thus your FlexSim is usable once again.
