FlexSim 2026 missing "Open Factory Layout"

Hello,

I have just installed FlexSim 2026.0.0 along with Adsk Interop 26.0.1.

To my surprise, I can no longer upload a factory layout from FDU because the "Open Factory Layout" option is missing from the File menu. (please see attached screenshots 2026.0 vs 2025.2)

Could you please advise?

Hey @marco_meleBSQVT ,

To open a Factory Layout, you can now this by clicking File -> Open Model... and selecting a file with a .layoutdata extension.

I eventually figured it out myself, it was just a simplified feature.

Is anyone else facing issues rendering .layoutdata files or inserting new factory assets in FlexSim 2026? In my case, assets are placed in the model and the label shows, but the 3D geometry never renders.
