I am using FlexSim on a daily basis, and do apply the software in various industries. The current task executors are great like the forklift trucks, AGVs, vessels and regular trucks. However I do use FlexSim also for non-warehouse and non supply chain projects.
It would be really handy to add some frequently-used task executors to the drop down menu in FlexSim in the next release. Some suggestions to add:
- Tipper truck (Like a DAF CF 480 tipper)
- Dumper (like a Volvo A60H)
- Wheelloader (like a cat 950 gc)
- Others?
- And doesnt have to be brand related, just the type of task executor would be really helpfull
Note: I am aware that you can upload your own visuals in FlexSim to task executors. However I have noticed that some visuals become very heavy or are causing flexsim to 'error/not respond'.
