How do I make an MA physically walk a specimen to the lab after collecting it from the patient? If I use the "Process > Send Item" for the specimen collection, after the MA collects the specimen from the patient in the draw room the item magically appears in the lab and the MA returns directly to the MA station.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation of the patient track system in FlexSim HC 5 and there isn't really a great way to do this.

This is something that is easier to do in FlexSim HC 2019 with its modular, Process Flow based track logic. This sample model shows this situation working in FlexSim 19.1.
