How does the MTTR/MTTF works in stations placed on conveyors?

Should work the same as any other object that uses MTTR/MTTF. There should be good information in the User Manual on how to use the MTTR/MTTF object.

@Jeff Nordgren , stations placed on conveyors don't have the breakdown tab that processors have

Don't need the breakdown tab. If you go to the Toolbox and double click the MTBFMTTR1 and press the green + icon, you will see that "Stations" are included in the objects that you can break down, see graphic.
