Server License Borrowing Option

Regarding the availability of "Borrowing Option" - is that option available for FlexSim to be able to work outside the server network because we have concurrent licenses?

I'm using FlexSim CT 3.0.2.

FlexSim does not currently support borrowing from a server-based ("server-concurrent") license.

The best solution is to convert one or more seats of your server-based license into a standalone ("client-activatable") license. This will allow a client PC to activate and return the license at will. Once activated on a client PC, the license does not have to maintain a network connection.

We can help you convert seats to or from standalone or server-based licenses. Please contact your local FlexSim distributor to arrange such a conversion. The process will require you to return your licenses so that we can make these changes.

Be aware that pricing can differ for standalone vs server-based licenses. Contact your local FlexSim rep for details regarding your own licenses.

Is this conversion is available for Educational license also?

Converting a standalone license to a network license (or vice versa) is available only to commercial licenses not to educational or student licenses.

@Omnia Reda You can try to enhance the local network by a vpn-connection to the license server over the Internet. That way the user can pull a license as long as the vpn connection exists. The user's computer is a part of the license server network by the vpn connection. You can limit the access to the license seats in the license option file "opt" file. In the license server documentation you find the method described. Otherwise ask again.
