Return crane after unloading items

[ FlexSim 23.1.4 ]

how to make the crane return to its original position after unloading the item to the processor.

During the process, the crane will bring the item to processor2 and it will start working with 2 operator. After unloading the item to processor2, the crane should return to its original position.

I have been trying to use process flow to simulate my processor but it does not work.

There is a trigger option on Resource available to let travel a taskexecuter like a crane to a home object or a location.

You have a delay before you finish the task sequence so the Crane is just waiting for a task to be added to that sequence - it does not evaluate the onresourceavailable since it has not finished the task sequence. When it does finish that sequence it still doesn't return, since there are other task sequences queued and the condition is that there are none.

Is it correct if I do it this way?

Looks better - does it work? I expect you will still have jobs queued on the crane and then the condition will often cause it not to return to the location.

Yes it does work. The issue is that your logic for acquiring the crane was keeping it busy. If you look at the model I shared in your other post you will see this method does work.

But i need to continue the process by bring the item back to the processor, is there a way to do that?

Place a breakpoint in the resource available code to detect it firing and step through to see what's happening.

@PuiLing , then you can insert simply a travel to loc task after unloading, then you crane travels to this location before the task sequence ends.
