I need to perform a simulation of a silo discharde to a cylinder. However the discharge should not be at constant flow rate. The flow rate varies during the discharge process according to the remaing volume to be discharged. I have already implemented the flow rate change according to the above mentioned parameter. However, the flow rate is changing according to a stepwise function. I need the flow rate to vary according to a linear function between two constant flow rate values. Does anybody know how to implement it on FlexSim?

Hi Matheus.

An alternative is constantly update the flow rate using a delay. With small intervals, you reduce the stepwise behavior.

You can recalculate the rate considering the volume of the silo.
