Emulation Modbus

Hello,

I follow the tutorial TASK 4.1 - BUILD PLC BASIC LADDER LOGIC. Currently I use Modbus to connect a virtual slave, while item cover/uncover photo-eye I can see register value of slave changed, also the transmission data shown in log view. But Flexsim seems doesn't poll value from slave even I check the Poll for External Changes checkbox, no transmission shown in log view.

Hope someone could give me some hint.

Looks like there may be a bug in the Emulation tool that's causing the polling to not work with modbus. I'm looking into it right now.

@steven.chen Sorry this took some time to get to you. The bug was pretty simple. I've fixed it for the next release of the 2018 Update 2 Beta. In the meantime, here's a link to download a patch for 2018 Update 1. Unzip the files and place them in your FlexSim install directory/modules/Emulation.
