[ FlexSim 21.0.2 ]

Hi all,
I am trying to create vertical conveyor model to simluate my facility and the video I took with 5 boxes.
Wish to realize the features of

Feature 1) create vertical conveyor (with 4 carriage unit, of vertical speed 0.3m/s)

Feature 2) manually set up total number of source input as 5 (I took a video with only 5 boxes), so the simulation animation is gotta match to my video taken.
1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtBKrpK-cZ0 : approaching to vertical (at 1F)
2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch96h6byuxQ : landing out from vertical (at 2F)

Can someone help?

You need a fixed interval movement (power and free) and you need to connect the conveyors.

Hi Jason,
from my model, standing one(just edited z-coordinate of the horizontal belt) was just to show what I want to create.

What I am trying to simulate shall be like below (carriage unit carries the boxes - without rotating box, saying box is containing water and stuff)

Hi,

Thanks to fl-up on this, Jason.

Tried the file you just uploaded, but the simulation running stops at exact 51.05 secs. (as below capture)

Is if fine working at your side without simulation stopping?

Yes it runs fine fore me. I'm using 21.0.3 - you could try that.

further question -

Can you look up this attached file vertical-conveyor.fsm
and describe how can I edit -
1) number of this FORK(set as product in this file) generated? - want only 1 product generation per frequency. Now it's generating consecutive 9 FORKs per 1-frequency.
2) and frequency of this product generation?

You should look at the arrival schedule of the source and the Dog interval of the conveyors.

Can I find 'Arrival schedule' at..

1) 'Model properties' of Conveyor model itself?
2) or somewhere in the 'Process flow?'

That blue object in the 3D view with the green arrow is a source. Please do the FlexSim tutorials included in the manual.
