Can't find the toolbox!

[ FlexSim HC 5.1.0 ]

I am sorry. I am a noob and I am getting very frustrated because I have just spent over an hour trying to figure out where the toolbox is so that I can import a DWG floor plan. The library bar is there. But there is no toolbox tab. I have looked everywhere for something that will show the toolbox and can't find anything. I have looked on the Internet for guidance and the only thing I see is references to using the toolbox and not how to show the tool box. I am sure I am overlooking something stupid.

How do I show the toolbox?

Jon,

if you accidentally closed the Toolbox tab in the left pane, you can reopen it by clicking the Toolbox button in the button bar right above the Run Speed bar. To import a DWG as a floor plan, you do not need the Toolbox in HC, though. There is a dedicated button right next to the "Save" button named Floor Plans.

Good luck

Ralf

Hello again Ralf;

There is no button with any kind of Toolbox label anywhere in the button bar over the Run Speed control.

I see: Sample Models, Getting Started, Model Control GUI, FlowItem Bin, etc. Nothing that even remotely implies Toolbox.

Thank you for your help

From your description it sounds like you are using standard FlexSim and not FlexSim HC.

Here is the toolbox button in FlexSim:

Jon,

can you send a screenshot of what you see. At the moment I have a hard time to figure out, what software version you have installed.

Thanks

Here you go.

I included the “About” screen so you can see the version.

A thought… could this issue be caused by my installing and uninstalling the regular version? Maybe there is a DLL somewhere that didn’t get over written or something?

If you don't know what is going on... I can try uninstalling it, making sure the directory is gone, and then reinstalling again.

Thank for the help

@Jon M This is FlexSim 5.1 not FlexSim HC 5.1. Do you mean to be using such an old version of FlexSim?

no... sorry... I messed up two times. I first installed the regular current version. Then I installed the regular 5.1 version. Now I am installing the 5.1 HC version. Sorry to have wasted your time.
