Breakdown Using Process Flow?

Hi Team,

I am modelling a process where I have 3 flows. I want to apply breakdown to only Flow1 and Flow2. But I don't have any idea how to refer particular process flow using breakdown activities. How can I achieve it?

Is it also possible to token color when breakdown happens just to verify process?

Thank you!

Accepted solution

Push the tokens from flow one and two to an Active Tokens list and then use that to get the list of tokens you want to preempt.

Hi @Jason Lightfoot,

Can you attach the working model with required changes in my model if possible?

Thank you!

Sorry, I didn't attach it as it's a 2 minute change that everybody should be able to do.

Thank you! @Jason Lightfoot
I have one question here just to get more clarity.
In case I am not using list, will this breakdown be applied to all 3 flows at the same time?

Thank you!

No, the breakdown flow only knows which tokens to interrupt by pulling them off the list. If there were no tokens on the list, nothing would happen.

You could get a reference to the tokens in other ways (for example write them to an array label on the process flow - though the list is the more elegant solution). But you need to specify the token(s) in the 'Save Context', 'Release Token' and 'Restore Context' activities. There is no default all tokens options.
