I've started testing 2017 Ext 1 on CentOS using the ADSK 7.2 ISO. After installing the 11.5 DKU, I can't save files to the root Desktop. I can save files in /root/Desktop, but they don't appear on the desktop itself. The flame2017 user desktop works correctly.
I completed the install twice, but same result. Anyone else run into this?
I took a look at the user-dirs.dirs file and it has the home directory entry you posted. It's identical to to the flame2017 user-dirs.dirs file, but the flame user works correctly.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'm continuing to dig around, and will post if I find anything.
