Mastergrade matchbox unavailable in bfx or action node bins

Hi,

I can no longer see mastergrade in either the bfx or action node bins. I can manually load it using matchbox in 'all nodes' and it's in my presets/2024.2.1/matchbox/shaders folder.

It doesnt appear in F12 search either.

I've tried switching user, same result, so I dont think its connected to my user.

How can I reset the bins?

cheers

Des

Hello Des,

Go in Preferences -> Shader Paths and look at the Batch Node Bin path for Matchbox. This is where the shaders are read from. Then, go look in this path if the MasterGrade file is there.

The applications defaults path is /opt/Autodesk/presets/<version>/matchbox/shaders

Please accept this as a solution if you feel your question has been answered.

Hi Fred,
My /opt/Autodesk/presets//matchbox/shadersis was still pointing at
2024.2, not 2024.2.1
I recently uninstalled 2024.2, so this is probs why this hadnt gone wrong
til now, but a bit puzzled why the 2024.2.1 install hadnt updated this
path..
All working now, so thanks

Des
