Macbook Pro HBM2 vs GDDR6 Memory Comparison

About to purchase a new MacBook Pro. 

Apple has just come out with a new HBM2 card for their MacBook Pro. Is it work getting the AMD Radeon Pro 5600M with 8GB of HBM2 memory  over the AMD Radeon Pro 5500M with 8GB of GDDR6 memory.

Hi firestormvfx,

 

The new HBM2 for Macbook Pro has not been tested/qualified to use with Flame as of the moment.  Only AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8G GDDR6 is supported, please refer to the system requirement below:

Use of any hardware outside the supported configuration may work but we cannot guarantee the performance.
