Tool number changing when posting G-Code

I am having an issue where one of my operations is changing the tool number when posting my G-Code.  This only happens with some files and only with certain tools.  In other files I'm doing a similar operation and using the same tool but it posts my G-Code correctly.  The tool I want is T43 and is labeled as T43 in my tool crib.   When I post my G-Code this is the only tool that changes numbers and it goes to T39.  Any ideas on why this could be happening? Thanks!

Hi @bmeyerRWNGL

If you go to Tool Mapping in the Features/Manufacturing tab, what register is that tool at?  If you somehow moved it here, that would override the tool register in the tool itself.

If you upload your post and fm file, that may also help someone diagnose if what I mentioned above is not the issue.

Thanks,

What kind of machine?

FC ignores tool numbers set in the crib if it uses the tool as a rotary tool in a millturn or live tool lathe. Reason being that it is essentially cloning that tool for use in a rotary station, so it's not really the same tool anymore. I really don't see the logic behind this, but that's how it is.
