Tool moving in Y axis and hitting part on 4th Axis setup

On the part I posted you can see on 3D Simulation that when the part rotates in the A-axis, the tool also moves and hits the part with the holder and gouges it. When I posted this program to the machine, the tool moved in the Y-axis every time the part rotated.

I have done several 4th axis setups in FeatureCAM and this is the first time I am having this problem. It seems like it happened after I rotated the UCS in X/Y when I wanted to switch the orientation of my part. How do I fix this?

Hi @kgueorguiev,

When I simulate the part I haven't gouge. But why have you "setup" on the top of the part instead of center on the part?

Hi @kgueorguiev,

I thing there are something wrong with you setup compared to you stock axis.. If I create a new setup in the center of the part and change my index axis to be the same as setup then I have the expected toolpath without Y-coord. see link.
