Does anybody know what these two tolerances are for in the code for a Siemens 840D? See attached.

Hi,

Not sure what the first tolerance is but the second one is the controls the rough/semi finish and finish cycles of the machine.

hi

the first one is a tolerance for machining ,your mill will make some move in respect to this tolerance,

even if you set a high feed if the move is too small  and not allowing this feed this one should be skipped

and done by a lower feedrate.
