FeatureCam 2019 Install

From my last topic regarding not being able to successfully install FCam 2019, I tried to download and install InventerView 2018 just yesterday and received the same outcome, an error that wouldn't allow me to complete the install.  I just wanted to let tech support know this as well, so maybe a solution can be found to this issue that seems to be relative only to my computer system.  Thanks!

Start in your command promt write appwiz.cpl then a window appear Add/remove programs.

Uninstall all the instances of Microsoft Visual C++ 2008, when you install FeatureCAM or Inventor Viewer, It will reinstall the runtime as necessary.

then use the fixit tool from microsoft.

If there are something installed from FeatureCAM 2019 and Inventor View then uninstall.

Restart your computer -> Reinstall FeatureCAM 2019 -> Reinstall Inventor Viewer 2019

Ok Jacob, I've uninstalled all the Microsoft Visual C ++ 2008  files, and ran the FixIt program(no issues).  I'm shutting down and will restart to see if this has any effect.

Go to the search tab and write UAC, give yourself full controll over the computer.

Then try again.

I believe I'm going to get my IT guy over here and let him take a look now.  When I tried installing FC2019, it basically damaged the operation of my 2018 program.  I've had to uninstall FC2018, and reinstall now to get get full functionality  back for my FC2018 seat.  I still have no issues installing FC2018 tho, but it takes time to go thru all of the updates and fixes from start to finish to get updated.

I don't understand why I can fully download and install FC2018, but can't do the same with FC2019 or IV2018?  I'm supposed to have full permission for these installs.  I'll check and see with the UAC setting.

Solution found.  My Windows 7 unit had not had a framework update in some time.  Not sure why, or how, but once the IT guy updated it I was then able to download FCam 2019 and subsequent updates, along with IV2019 as well.  Thank for all the help!
