projected curves

I have a question about projecting curves.  I attached a picture of what I am talking about in this question.  I would like to know if you can take a curve and slice it through a model so I can make a roll dimension.  As you will see on the picture that I attached you will see a line above the part.  I took that line and projected a line through the part.  Can Featurecam do this?  This was done in mastercam.

Thanks for your contribution to Autodesk Forum.

I am not sure about projecting a curve on multiple surfaces. I was trying to do it with Surface projection but not working for me.

However, please refer the video in which I was able to create it using intersection of a surface and solid.
