CAD model import with FeatureCAM Standard

What type of CAD model can be imported with  FeatureCAM Standard? Can Parasolid be imported?

Yes, File Format "Parasolid 28.0"first supported in version 22.4. Feature cam will also import SolidWorks 2016, SolidEdge ST7, DWG 2013,CATIA V5-6R2015, CATIA V5-6R2014, CATIA V5 R23, UG NX 10, UG NX 9.0, Autodesk Inventor 2016, Pro/E Creo, I hope this helps. No Worries.

It seems that FeatureCAM can only import  Neutral CAD model. Third-party CAD import will need FeatureCAM Premium, FeatureCAM Ultimate license.

I want to comfirm if FeatureCAM standard can import parasolid, step models?

Qihong Ou,

I have two seats of feature cam standard and they both import Parasolids "x_t" files. My import default is "igs" files, they too import fine.    I can not import step files on the two standard seats.  I can import "step" files on my Premium seats. To import "step", "Catia", "CatiaV5", "proE", "NX", files you would need to have the Premium seat.
