After converting an Inventor file to AutoCAD, there are instances where a padlock icon appears on the AutoCAD file. If the user does not notice this padlock and proceeds with their activities, such as inserting new assets or making modifications like moving, copying, or pasting, when they attempt to save the file, the message "Drawing file is protected" will be displayed. I have observed that this occurs because the Inventor file remained open and was not closed after synchronization from Inventor to AutoCAD. Therefore, I would like to suggest that, after synchronization, the file is automatically saved and then closed.
