Square to Round ITM addition and Alternate Material

CID 8 is set as an rectangular / round fitting, as are all of the square to round fittings. It would be greatly beneficial if you could add a square to round itm what only looked at the round spec table. 

Our shop welds all square to rounds 26" in diameter and up. Our round specs are set accordingly. We weld 18ga and thicker. Rectangular tables are typically set up calling out 18ga much higher than round tables. Therefore, we have a welded collar, but the body is not. Currently scripting it on the CAM side to fix the issue. 

This could all be solved, along with many other issues we could have a Alternate Material set-up or a Square to round ITM what only looks at the round spec table.

We do have an Option in the Takeoff Database -  Item Entry - Current Specs to asign a Spec to Square to Round.

You can then create a Rectangular Spec that is more in line with your Round that won't affect your current Rectangular Spec.

Sorry for the late reply. In using your proposed method, I do not see a way to have different connector breakpoints for the different pressure classes.  This only allows you to assign one specification table to a square to round, therefore 1 set of connector breakpoints. We need to have more control when applying the specification tables on square to rounds.

To take that implementation a step further, how about adding a "Square to Round" in the "Library" drop-down with the Specification tables? This would allow us to assign breakpoints within an individual specification table, it would give us full and isolated control of the specifications tied to our square to rounds.

As of right  now, I do not see a way to get it to work correctly without scripting.
