Revit Fabrication part back to Revit Generic / Native Element

We know that we can convert a Revit Generic Item or Native Revit Item to Revit Fabrication Part. It will be helpful sometimes if we can convert Revit Fabrication Part back to Revit Generic Item or Native Revit Item again.

Kindly look after it if possible.

I would like to know if there was a solution for this. 

I have MEP fabrication ductwork that I want to change back to generic parts so I can apply systems to it for drawing visibility purposes (Supply/return).
