This has become our daily work flow. Detailing will typically still be modeling as construction starts the project so we issue MAJs per sector. The shop will merge these sectors as released to consolidate the MAJ back to one per floor. Our field guys trigger the orders from the shop which using this method allows them to span multiple sectors in one order.
The shop currently merges the newly issued sectors with the consolidated model and then does a save as over writing the current. I would like to have the option to merge the sectors into the consolidated model with the file open much like insert in AutoCAD. Possible?
