Seeing RED text in Specifications editor

Some strange and unwelcome behavior - after seeing red color lock symbols on a fitting that was not using the known specification settings for connectors and querying the database the text in the relevant dialogs is also red color and the entries for the connectors are set to none with an asterisk and the list of available pressure classes in drop down has acquired multiple duplicates.

2 different things....

1) The RED text in the Specifications editor means that the specification entries were pointing to something that no longer exists in the database. Look at the connector In/Out settings fo the image you posted...they're not set. So whatever connector they WERE pointing to was deleted, renamed or moved to a different group.

2) The Red UnLocked icons in the ITM Editor indicates that those settings were carried over from the previously placed item.

Hello @Anonymous

Thank you for the forum post and welcome!

I appreciate the screen shot you included per your forum post, that always helps for troubleshooting.

I have a couple of questions to ask you regarding your post.

1) Using you Autodesk Desktop Application, can you confirm that you are using the most recent version?  Per the version on my machine I have the following: Version - 2018.0.0.F, Build - 3.06.844 (2018.3), this data can be found by typing appinfo into the command line in Fabrication CADmep

2) Unless I missed it was there a specific question that you are trying to have solved?

@Anonymous did an excellent job of walking through the screenshots you sent, and providing an explanation to what it is your seeing.

As you mentioned above, it looks like you have alot of duplicate services which can lead to some confusion in Fabrication CADmep, I would suggest you clean these up, or give them a different name.

Thank you and I look forward to your thoughts!
