HELP! Exporting Item to an .IGES 3D model

Hello,

I am new to CADMEP and am trying to figure out the most efficient/best way to export items (pipe) in my drawing to .IGES files to bring into my laser tube cutting software. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm using CADMEP 2021. Drawing attached as well to test with.

Thanks!

The simple answer is no, you can't do that.

The Fab Items are their own object type with little information actually in the brep of the 3d model. If you explode the objects you end up with faces that are of little use.

If you know the data that the tube cutter actually needs, you maybe able to extract that from the Item.

Good luck!
