Duct size placement annotation offset

When I use the size tag on a piece of duct, it is always at the end of duct. Is there a way to offset this so I dont have to continually drag it to the center of the duct?

My setting is set to middle. The text is placed at the node of the duct. I want to be able to have the text placed somewhere else on the item. I have messed with the offset along x-axis but it doesn't seem to change.

Any ideas?

I figured it out. I put a distance in the offset along X. I had to restart my CAD session for the change to make it happen. Now my text is moved off the connector.
