Stuck in a loop of entering login information into Fusion 360.

When logging into Fusion 360 with my education license, I enter my login information, and then it loads for about 10 seconds, flashes the "unsupported browser error" screen for half a second, and then takes me right back to the login page for me to enter my information again. I have tried the application version and browser version, as well as trying on my personal laptop as well as a university PC.

Hi @acoleman10

Were you able to get the Roles working in your project.

The sign in problem feels like a different issue. Can you ask your IT Admin to look at the following.

  1. Confirm that the domains listed in this article are on the allowed list: Which URLs/Protocols need to be allowed for Autodesk Identity Manager
  2. Update to a new version Autodesk Identity Manager: Autodesk Identity Manager component update for product versions 2024 and beyond (Windows).

Please keep us posted.

Hi @pag.duarte

Thanks for the image. It looks like Fusion is not seeing a valid license. Can you confirm that you did the following?

To acquire a Fusion 360 Education license, do the following.

  1. Log into the Autodesk Education site and if needed verify your eligibility.
  2. To acquire or renew your Fusion 360 license; on the Fusion 360 product card click "Get product".

danbanach_0-1683674984670.png

  1. Then click "ACCESS".

danbanach_1-1683674984671.png

  1. Launch Fusion 360.
  2. If the Education license does not appear on the top of the screen as shown in the following image, sign out and back into Fusion 360.

When using " fusion.online.autodesk.com", the programm starts but when I tryed to login the first time the programm went back to the login screen. The second time I got an error message:

"Sign in Failure

There was an error while logging in to Fusion 360."

@lucas_baenkel would you be able to show us what happens with a screenshot/screen recording? I am most intrigued by you saying that it says you have an educational license when you log in but that it still gives an error and takes you back to the login page. Your license is connected to your account so to know that you have an education license it must be linking to your account at some level, but this seems different to what we have seen before.
Would love to see these errors as it will make it a little easier to understand.
Looking forward to hearing back!
Oliver
