AutoCAD 2025 Education license - No active subscription could be found

Hi everyone, I created my student account and downloaded the app. However once I opened it, it kept asking for my licence and said "No active subscription or trial could be found for this email address" and keep leading me to the same pages and making me download the app all over again with no difference in the outcome. I was no provided with a licence when I got the confirmation email for my student account. Do I still need to purchase something even with my student account? I thought it was free for students for a period of time.

Original Title: Problem with licensing with my student account
Title changed by @LeoWarren-EDU to improve clarity.

Hi @w1984601,

Welcome to the Autodesk Education Community!

I've just checked your account, which is verified into 2025 and I can also see an AutoCAD license assigned to your account. If you're looking to use a product other than AutoCAD, please download the product from the Education Product page which will assign a license to your account. If AutoCAD is the product causing issues, I'd recommend resetting the licensing service using the instructions available in this support article.

I hope this helps - please don't hesitate to reach out if you any assistance.
