I need an activation code or other solution to continue working on AutoCAD.

Preferably, I want the same version (2018).

If I need a newer version it must be the one most similar to 2018

Important - I do not want a version that creates the small print "created by an Autodesk student version" when you PDF the document.

I wouldn't post to much personal information here 

However I would go back and look in your Account manager .. you should now have a SIGN IN activation vs using the serial number

Hi @Anonymous,

2018 Products are no longer within support for the Education Program. Currently, AutoCAD 2019 is the oldest version available however this will be out of support for education users next year.

As for the watermark, there is no choice here as you have to have it where it's in the software, since your work is non-commercial by nature, to be in line with the Education Program EULA, so it shouldn't matter. At the end of the day you are getting free access to software, so you can expect some limits with its usage.

Do you have a VALID subscription for AutoCAD 2028? 

That's needed.

Also, you can't use it for educational if that's what you're wanting it for.

Firstly, which version are you using, and is it educational or commercial license.

Secondly, Autodesk is retiring plans based on serial numbers and assigning each subscription to a named user. Meaning, you no longer need a Serial Number's to be able to use software. You just have to sign in to the software with your account, and it's done.
