When is High-DPI support coming ? 😩

Hi!

I know, this is not a new request.

But that makes it even worse.

The first time that I've seen this being brought up, was in 2015.

Yes. That is half a decade ago !

At this point of time, I don't think there is any excuse for this.
Its been requested for 5 years and even most windows computers now have high-res screens; so it can't be due to lack of demand either.

The very very least you could do is to indicate an approximate timeframe for this to be implemented.

Then at least, one could make a decision on wether to stick around or switch to another software.

Such as KiCad. Despite being free, they have managed to implement High-DPI support and graphics acceleration.

That alone should be enough motivation to finally get it done.

Looking forward to meaningful answers.

Thanks!

Hi @noel_neu,

The most meaningful answer I can give you is that this will be coming sooner than you think. I know it's been a long time coming so I understand the frustration. I wish I had more to share right now, but at this point I don't.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,

Sounds like EAGLE is about to be a tab in Fusin360 to me.

The proprietary graphics engine in Fusion360 is thousands of light years ahead of EAGLE which I believe is based on QT5.
