Hello, I'm really confused about managed libraries.
I can create my own schematic symbol and footprint (Eagle standard). I can convert it to managed library. But I can't add 3D model to the package.
Can you please help me?
Thank you,
Jan.

After long time it works BUT,...
1) I think that concept of managed libraries is not good. Maybe I don't understand it in depth, but I think that every developer will be happy with simple environment. We don't want to push our libraries to your server (which is constantly going down). I think that simple 3D environment (the same one you have in package generator with possibility to move and rotate components to right position on footprint) is everything we need, but it has to be integrated in Eagle!!!
2) I don't understand why we have to make some change in footprint to be able to change 3D model. This is total nonsense.
3) Add local 3D packages support. #featureRequest
4) What I like, is your package generator! This is cool, but you need more components. This thing should be online, but do not connect it with Eagle. I want to create whole library (draw symbol, footprint and asign 3D model) inside Eagle (we can create some components in package generator, but it's better to download file and import it I think).
5) I don't understand how I should work with model in Fusion after push. I have opened file V13, but Eagle pushed file V14 - how can I switch to newer version? It's not an Eagle problem, but you should write manual for it.
It works, I like it, but make it more user-friendly 🙂
