SPICE - how to add Model description

Hi

If I use my own or foreign devices and have to add a SPICE type (f.e. Spice Type c: Capacitor) I get an error message (see below) what I do not get if I work with an example circuit. What can I do ? How to add a MODEL ? Where are the used MODELs ?

Hello @HarrySatt,

I hope you're doing well. If you have a specific model for the capacitor then you have to pick a different spice type. If you pick Spice Type to be capacitor then EAGLE is just going to use the intrinsic model of a capacitor.

To be able to use a custom model pick the Spice Type to be X:Subcircuit, that will specify to EAGLE that you have a unique model for the component.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
