I hope you're doing well. Thank you for the suggestion, I'll add your comments to the existing enhancement report about this. Check the Mouse configuration software for your mouse.
EAGLE takes whatever the mouse driver gives it and usually in these types of software you can map certain actions to different functions of the mouse.
